The rapid increase in Omicron cases has caused the Hyte NYC event in NYC to be postponed. In collaboration with Teksupport, the event was going to be held at 99 Scott in Brooklyn over two consecutive days.
Organizers of the event have said they are “currently checking all artist schedules” and will announce the new dates on Monday, January 3rd. The postponement comes after Hyte canceled all their events in Europe due to COVID concerns.
Techno legend Sven Väth, Recondite, and a Pablo Romero B2B Mink set were scheduled for the first day of the event. Len Faki, Marcel Dettmann, and Rampini were slated to close out the second day.
With COVID cases rapidly rising, it is unclear when the event will be held. Check out the official announcement here.
