Nate Mars – In Time (Remixes)

Nate Mars is back with something pretty special – his “In Time (Remixes)” project. This is a remix collection with a creative spin on his In Time EP from last year, featuring some slick work from Liondub, Tim Reaper, and Starkey. Plus, Mars throws in a new original track, “Parallelogram,” adding his signature twist.

Let’s talk about Liondub first. This guy takes the lead with his version of “In Time.” He’s a wizard in mixing genres like Jamaican Roots Reggae, UK Jungle, Hip-Hop, and Dubstep. His remix? It’s smooth, it’s rhythmic, and it sets the tone for what’s to come. Liondub is a global name with a knack for fresh collaborations.

Then we’ve got Tim Reaper, the man behind Future Retro London and a name on the Forbes 30 Under 30 Europe list. He brings his A-game to “Starting Over,” focusing on percussion and rhythm and giving us a taste of that authentic jungle music vibe. Reaper, or Ed Alloh as some know him, blends old-school and new in a way that’s just magic.

Philly’s own Starkey jumps in with his remix of “To Kill A DJ.” His style here is a mix of dub/reggae and UKG that takes you on a wild ride. Starkey is all about pushing boundaries and his remix here is no exception.

And of course, there’s Mars’ new track, “Parallelogram.” This displays his skills in drum and bass/UKG. Think metallic percussion, quick breaks, and deep basslines – it’s a track that keeps you guessing.

In Time (Remixes) EP shows off a well mixed concept of each remixing artists’ own style infused with that of the Nate Mars originals. Whether you’re hitting the dance floor or cruising at night, this collection is set to be your new go-to.
